Deadlines and Important Dates
The deadline for subject post enrollment is 29 August 2010. However, completing your program enrollment before registration is strongly recommended. If you are not in your Subject POSt by this date, you will be at a disadvantage when selecting courses for the following two reasons:
- Some SOC courses are designated as Restricted (marked in the Timetable with an 'R' indicator). If you are not in the correct SOC POSt when you try select these courses, your requests will be rejected by ROSI (SWS/STS). The Restricted designation is not lifted at any time.
- Some SOC courses are designated as Priority to SOC students (marked in the Timetable with a 'P' indicator). If you are not in the correct SOC POSt when you select these courses during July and August 2010, your requests will be rejected by the SWS/STS. The Priority designation is lifted after the first round of course selection and courses are then opened to non-SOC students for the second round. However, by this stage SOC students will have had their choices and there will be fewer remaining spaces to try for, if any.
