The Toronto Population Network is pleased to invite you to the next talk in the TPN POP Speaker Series, featuring Dr. Orsola Torrisi, Assistant Professor of Social Demography in the Department of Sociology at McGill University.

Dr. Torrisi’s talk, Consequences of Violent Crime on Sexual and Reproductive Health Outcomes, examines how exposure to violence affects sexual and reproductive health even in the absence of direct victimization. Drawing on innovative data from Mexico, this research highlights the broader population-level health consequences of violent crime and the implications for health systems and policy in violence-affected settings.
