A new Population, Space and Place article by Lisa Kaida (Associate Professor of Sociology, McMaster), Monica Boyd (Professor of Sociology, the University of Toronto), and Soli Dubash (PhD Candidate, Sociology, the University of Toronto) shows factors explaining the occupational segregation between Black and White Canadian workers vary widely by gender and between Toronto and Montreal. This study is part of Drs. Kaida and Boyd’s SSHRC-funded project “Occupational segregation trends in Canada.”
