Purpose
Provide a brief overview of the application process and discuss the diverse experiences and range of scholarship of some of our faculty and graduate students in the Department of Sociology at University of Toronto. There will also be time for Q&A.
Invitation
Potential graduate students in Canada interested in sociology at U of T. Markus indicated that the grad office has email addresses for all chairs of sociology in Canada so we would appreciate it being distributed widely, as we are seeking to attract a diverse range of applications, including students from marginalized groups who may not traditionally see U of T as a place of destination.
