Do you have questions about the sociology job market? When is a good time to start looking for academic jobs? How do you know when you are ready? What can you do to plan ahead for this year’s market How long should a cover letter be? What is a diversity statement? Do I need a professional/personal website? Have some job market deadlines already passed?
Bring any of your sociology job market related questions to Friday’s Job Market Workshop for graduate students. Faculty members Prentiss Dantzler and Jonathan Horowitz will answer your questions and share their recent job market experiences. This workshop will be led by your questions and concerns.
