Meeting ID: 915 9142 7991
Passcode: 574889

The goal of the workshop is to bring together scholars across the department and the university working on issues related to work, the economy, or stratification and inequality, broadly defined.  Graduate students and faculty using a range of methodological approaches are welcome to present.

The workshop format will be a 30-40-minute presentations of work in progress, followed by an opportunity for workshop participants to ask questions and provide feedback. Participants will not be expected to read the paper before attending, but presenters are welcome to share drafts.

One of the main goals in creating this workshop is to build an intellectual community among the many U of T researchers working in this area. Another goal is to give graduate students additional opportunities to present their work in progress, receive feedback, and engage in scholarly conversations in their field(s). With that aim in mind, the majority of our sessions will feature graduate student presentations.

If you are interested in presenting next semester (Winter 2021), please contact Irene Boeckmann (irene.boeckmann@utoronto.ca) before November 1st.
