University of Toronto PhD graduate Yang-Sook Kim has accepted a tenure-track position in the Sociology Department at Florida Atlantic University. She joins FAU this fall as an Assistant Professor in Race. Dr Kim’s scholarship centers on how subordinated people make sense of, navigate, and resist deepening inequalities in the context of neoliberal globalization. She graduated from the UofT Sociology PhD program in the fall of 2020. Congratulations, Dr Kim on achieving this significant milestone in your career!
