In a feature with Global News’ Morning program, Preston also notes the role of social media in far-right movements, stressing the importance of holding accountable those spreading disinformation.
Kayla Preston is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology. Her research examines far-right extremism in Canada and the United States. She is currently studying how youths become involved in and work to uphold far right youth organizations.
