The Harney Program in Ethnic, Immigration and Pluralism Studies continues today as a signature program at the University of Toronto. Professor Isajiw was a major figure in the study of ethnicity and diversity in Canada, having published voluminously, organizing dozens of conferences and workshops, and securing significant research funding throughout his career.
